Every year, we wring our hands in the same, very predictable ways around this time of the year:
“What can I buy with two-hour—not two-day—shipping?”
“How big is the toy aisle at 7-Eleven?”
“A gallon of milk wrapped in paper is technically a gift, I think.”
We hear that because that is us. It never fails and never surprises, either. We all know the spirit of Christmas compels us to consider what we truly wish for, in our heart of hearts. We wish for good health, peace, company, and good fortunes in the year ahead. We wish for others to reflect on the joys we’ve had together and to look forward to the times that are coming, too.
But holidays love a gift, and we understand that. What if we told you—pardon the cliché—about the greatest gift of all? It’s each other, and indirectly, it’s us and you. Christmas has meaning alone, but it means so much more together. The common denominator for every gift you’ve ever given to anyone has been you. And we couldn’t ask for more.
